SharKui is a meme, half-man, half-shark, fighting against injustices and oppressive governments.

SharKui seeks a more liberal world, with less state control over our lives and more freedom of opinion and choice.

In SharKui’s world, the governments of the United States and China have formed an alliance to control the planet, known as the UNINA government.

They also created a new currency, the DYEP, a combination of the five largest monetary bases in the world: Dollar, Euro, Yuan, Yen, and Pound. Cryptocurrencies have been banned, information is heavily censored, and the government controls people and companies, stripping away individual freedoms. Other countries are held hostage due to the immense power of these two nations, forced to buy DYEP and pay sanctioned tariffs. The UNINA government also controls how much each country can print of their local currency and always takes a portion of the printed money, ensuring their continued dominance. Although much of the population in the United States and China opposes this alliance, corrupt and dangerous politicians are in power, making it a daunting task to remove them.

SharKui’s adventures are 3D animations based on fiction but could reflect “reality” depending on whom we choose to govern us.

It is a critique of governments and politicians who seek to silence, control, and dictate our lives. Most politicians do not care about people; they care about power and money. They aim to raise taxes, make life more bureaucratic, restrict our freedom of speech, and more. No matter what country you live in, the state wants to control you, not help you.

Cryptocurrencies exist today only because brave individuals stood up against the system. At first, governments were completely against Bitcoin and did everything to stop it, but they failed.

Did you know that SUI was never supposed to exist? It was meant to be called Libra or Diem—a blockchain designed to facilitate digital payments and create a stable digital currency. But guess what? Regulators wouldn’t allow it to move forward.

Despite many barriers and challenges, Mysten Labs was founded in September 2021 by a group of former leaders of the Diem project. Evan Cheng, co-founder and CEO of Mysten Labs, one of the brilliant minds behind the SUI blockchain, continued working and fighting to bring something unique to the market. This is how the SUI Network, a unique and innovative blockchain, came to be!
